Shipping policy

Order Processing

All Good World Materials pieces are made in small batches or built to order in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Estimated lead times are displayed on each product page. Orders are processed in the order they are received unless otherwise stated for limited releases or special collections.

Once your order enters production, you may receive progress updates as your piece moves through different stages of making and finishing.

Please note that if your order contains multiple items with different lead times, the shipment will generally follow the item with the longest lead time unless otherwise arranged.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship across Canada and select locations in the United States.

If your region is unavailable at checkout, please contact us and we will see if we can accommodate your order.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of the order.

Some products may qualify for free shipping promotions within Canada.

Any import duties, taxes, or customs charges for international orders are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Delivery Times

Estimated transit times begin after your order has been completed and dispatched.

Typical delivery estimates:

• Canada: 2–10 business days
• United States: 4–14 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on carrier delays, weather, remote locations, customs processing, or seasonal demand.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available in Victoria, BC for select orders. If available, this option will appear at checkout.

Furniture & Handmade Variations

Because our products are made using recycled materials and handcrafted processes, slight variations in color, texture, pattern, and finish are normal and part of what makes each piece unique.

No two pieces are exactly the same.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

• Your order number
• Photos of the packaging
• Photos of the damage

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Good World Materials is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs processing, or incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.

If a shipment appears lost, please contact us and we will assist in opening a carrier investigation.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping details are correct before placing an order.

Additional shipping fees caused by returned packages or address corrections may be charged to the customer.
