Good to know:
Rags and applicators used with any drying oil (like tung or linseed) can self-heat as they oxidize, which is a known risk across many oil finishes. To stay safe, hang used rags to dry flat or store in a sealed metal container. Never leave oily rags balled up or piled.

Ensure even application, or you may find waxy spots start to appear. These can be buffed out again.
